Tech Lead & Senior Software Engineer - Infoedge

• Frontend - Optimised static contents including javascript, css and images by merging, minifying and caching them using NGinX, JSMin, and YUI Compressor tools. Also worked with ReverseAjax, Comet, FB graph APIs, Autocomplete, Image cropping, Rich text editors (CKEditor), DOM normalisation, User Behaviour Analytics SDK.
• Backend - Tweaked and configured Apache, NGinX, MySql for optimal performance. Implemented compressions using ob_gzhandler & mod_deflate modules, cache layer in middleware (PHP) using CacheLite, memcache for distributed caching and sharding
• R & D - Used extraction, machine learning and data mining to build an exhaustive skillset database for recommending relevant jobs to users
• Mobile - Single-handedly architected and developed a mobile website (used routing, reverse routing, and WURFL) for Naukri.com's professional networking site which helped capture almost 30 percent of the untapped mobile market

• SEO - enabled desktop and mobile search bots to index web pages. Automated sitemap generation for public urls with proper semantics and robots.txt rules

Software Engineer - Checktronix

• Built a functional test-suite in Perl which completely eliminated manual testing effort for resume parsing web tool
• Implemented mobile alert system service using perl. Incorporated keyword highlighter for streaming resumes using SAPI, PHP.
